Welcome to Virtual Church! Thank you for visiting – please do look around the rest of our website while you’re here.
These are unusual times and we look forward to being able to gather together again soon in the normal way; and if you are new to Emmanuel, we look forward to welcoming you in person. Until then, you will find links below to all the resources you should need to enjoy church at home, along with the rest of the church family. You will also find study questions for use during the week, either on your own or with your family or home group (now meeting remotely).
News and information will be posted here, so please check-in on a regular basis. You can also keep in touch via the Emmanuel Church Hastings Facebook page or email our church administrator at email@example.com

New afternoon service
From 8th August, you are required by law to wear a face covering when attending church.
The afternoon service will be held on the 23rd and 30th of August. This is in addition to our main Virtual Church service in the morning.
We will be opening the church doors at 3.30pm so that we can get everyone inside safely in time for a 4.00pm start.
When you arrive you will join a queue system outside the church, observing social distancing guidelines. When you reach the front of the queue you will enter the church through the Vicarage Road entrance and go straight to the toilets to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, in accordance with government guidelines.
You will then follow a one-way system around the church and be directed to a seat by one of our Stewards. Please do not make your own way to a seat but wait to be directed.
If you need to return to the toilets during the service, you will need to follow the one-way system there and back to your seat. At the end of the service, the church will empty one pew at a time.
Please bring your own Bible and wear a face mask. There will be no singing during the service but we will listen to recorded music.
Please note that we have limited capacity due to the need for social distancing; you may therefore not be able to enter if we are at capacity when you arrive.
We look forward to seeing you there!
