Grill-a-Christian event (for men) To be held at the Welcome Stranger pub on Wednesday 19th March, starting at 7.30pm. This is an opportunity to ask any question you like about the Christian faith. Have you a burning question you'd like answered in a frank and open manner. Curious about what Christians think about things like hypocrisy in the church, war, divorce, sex? Would you like to have explained what the bible teaches about such things as what happens after death, or answers on suffering. This is an ideal event to put forward your questions and comments. Questions will be taken from the floor, there will also be an opportunity if you prefer to submit any questions anonymously via question slips and a box. The panel will consist of three Christian men who know their onions! In no particular order, the panel are; Phil Coekin (vicar of Emmanuel Church, Hastings), David Williams and Mike Coe (vicar of St. Matthews Church, St. Leonards). This event is being held as part of both the Emmanuel 'Finding Faith' mission week and also one of the many Men's Events jointly run by both Emmanuel Church and St. Matthews Church co-ordinated by Michael Farrier. It promises to be at the very least a great social evening, and hopefully will provide some thought provoking facts about the Christian Faith. Transport can be arranged if required (please contact the office on 445184), there will be free light snack food and the first round is on us! This event is for men only!
